Hello all,
After being "off the air" for about a month, the Real Truth webcast stream is back! [Cyber Services are scheduled to return by this coming Sabbath].
For various reasons we were not able to do our regular Webcast Stream until now, but today we have a special program on the role of thanksgiving, and of the Godly attitude that results.
Many have not recognized it, but the word "thanksgiving" appears many times in the Bible, and the Bible instructs us to first give God thanks for His many blessings. This will then put us in the right attitude to ask God for what we really need.
If we are giving thanks, we will be in an attitude of joy. It can lead to many of the other gifts of the Holy Spirit too.
If we are thankful, we won't be greedy, or materialistic. But rather, we will have our minds focussed where they are supposed to be -- on the spiritual things.
Our ancestors started this Thanksgiving tradition because they knew how important giving thanks to God is. Our thankless generation needs to turn around now, repent, and recapture this true value!
Once you are in the proper, thankful attitude, that opens up the channel of communication with God, so that He can send more blessings our way! Giving thanks leads to all of the good things God wants to give us. It is when we forget to give thanks for what we have that satan can get his hooks into us and lead us astray.
So, let's make EVERYDAY Thanksgiving Day from now on!
